Holiday Festival Guide

Sunday, December 10, 3:00 - 5:30 pm

Thank you for joining us for this campus-wide event! There’s so much to do!

Dance in the Great Hall!

Join Santa and DJ ROC for a festive dance party in the Great Hall. There will be cake, games, and an opportunity to take photos with Santa as well! Fun for the whole family!

Here’s what to expect:

  • Cake cutting will begin at 3:45 pm.
  • Kids will have the opportunity to try on Christmas Pageant costumes!
  • All photos with Santa are FREE!
  • Bring a board game or join one already in play.
  • Santa will ask the kids: what are you grateful for this year? Kids are encouraged to make thankful cards to add to the Wall of Thanks that hangs by the holiday tree that we will light up at 5:00 pm! All participating kids will receive a light-up ring.
  • For a quieter setting, you are welcome to stop by the Fireside Room below the Great Hall to make tree ornaments and holiday crafts.

Relax in the Chapel!

For an even quieter atmosphere, join the artist Christine Bingham for a candle-lit art exhibit of her series of twelve mirror paintings of twelve female saints. Learn more about the project in a warm and contemplative space.

Here’s what to expect:

  • Written prompts for reflection and/or prayer and information about each female saint.
  • Meditative ambient audio recorded on Christine’s travels around the world.
  • A silent video showcasing the larger life of Christine’s project.
  • Complimentary refreshments including beverages and light bites.

To learn more these artworks, you can email Christine Bingham at this link.

Carol in the Garden!

At 5:00 pm, we will all gather in the Saint Francis Garden to sing carols and watch the tree lighting!

Here’s what to expect:

  • Santa will pass around jingle bells to ring during the gathering.
  • Weather permitting, we will sing carols around the tree.
  • If it’s raining, we will gather in the Fireside Room to carol.
  • For those who wish, you are also invited to join us for Advent Lessons & Carols in the Church at 5:30 pm.
  • Free childcare available from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
