Every child carries a faith worth nurturing, and no parent has to do that work alone. This year, Epiphany’s Family Series centers on Meredith Miller’s book Woven: Nurturing a Faith Your Kid Doesn’t Have to Heal From, a hopeful and practical guide to raising children in a faith that is life-giving, honest, and sturdy enough to grow with them.
“How Do We Weave Faith at Home?: A Conversation on Woven”
Meredith Miller joins us virtually to share the heart of Woven and the questions that shaped it. After her talk, parents will have time to reflect, share ideas, and begin shaping simple faith practices that fit their own family’s rhythms.
Meredith is a pastor, writer, and parent who helps grown-ups and kids engage the Bible and faith in ways that are life-giving, fun, and fit real life. She holds an M.Div from Fuller Seminary, brings 25 years of kids and family ministry experience, and has worked with the Fuller Youth Institute, which studies faith formation in young people. She is co-pastor of Pomona Valley Church and also the author of Wonder: A Grown-Up’s Guide to Exploring the Bible with Children.
This session is open to parents, grandparents, godparents, and anyone who cares for the faith of a child. Reading the book is welcome but not required. Dinner is free, and provided for those who RSVP.
