…and we’re sorry if you missed it.
The Service & Outreach Group thanks everyone who attended Evensong and then poured into the Great Hall last Saturday for Have a Heart. You were part of the jolliest crowd we’ve seen in a post-Covid while. Thank you for choosing to spend your evening with us. You make this event Epiphany’s best party of the year (if we say so ourselves).
It’s too early to report any numbers, but we are confident donations will be right where they need to be. As we ’ve always said, we never set a dollar target for Have a Heart. Whatever parishioners freely give will be our funding budget for much of Epiphany’s outreach in 2026. We are deeply grateful for all who have given or will give, whether through your end-of-year charitable giving, at Have a Heart last Saturday, or in the weeks to come.
Have a Heart raises much needed funding for our nonprofit friends, but it is also an opportunity to inform our parish about these organizations, many of whom have been for decades partners in Epiphany’s ministry of caring for our neighbors. If you could not attend, please view the Have a Heart program video and Evensong service for good reasons you might choose to donate. Read Holly’s Have a Heart message to learn why your gift matters so much.
More updates about Have a Heart will be provided in the Service & Outreach eNewsletter coming out Friday, February 13. If you are reading this message, you are already subscribed—our newsletter should arrive in your Inbox by noon.
