Dear Epiphany,
This year’s holiday giving will be different from past years.
Thanksgiving: The YWCA wants to provide each family with gift cards for $75 for each family
member. So, a family of 4 will need $300 in gift cards. We won’t have specific family
assignments but will provide as many $75 gift cards as we can.
Christmas: The YWCA has asked if we will “adopt” women served by its Angeline’s Day
Center in downtown Seattle. This means we will provide 100 gift packs (which will include
pack of socks (wool blend preferred), slippers, scarf, warm hat, lip balm gloves, face wipes and
optional Target $25 gift card in a new reusable tote). We will have a sign up for this. We will
not be doing Adopt-A-Families this year.
