Friday 10/7, 4:00 pm to Sunday 10/9, 1:00 pm
St. Andrew’s Retreat Center on Hood Canal
Purpose: “For the past 14 years, men from Epiphany have gathered in retreat at St. Andrew’s, and have experienced unanticipated blessings… sometimes by way of insight, sometimes by way of new or deepened friendship, sometime by learning something new. These are restful and laidback gatherings, and I always delight in attending and sharing the experience. This year promises to be as
glorious as in years past. I hope you attend.” — Doyt+
Place: Nestled in the beauty of the southmost reach of Hood Canal, St. Andrew’s House boasts traditional log cabin style walls, a massive stone fireplace outdoors, and an expansive covered porch to enjoy the view, relax, and contemplate. Their food is the stuff of legend, with Chef Cody's creative farm-to-table meals sourced from local growers. The Grounds of St. Andrew's are particularly stunning & serene; stroll through the gardens and get lost in the spectacular view of the Olympic Mountains and Hood Canal.
Presenter: An Episcopal layman, Tom Cashman is a spiritual director working with clergy, those on the ordination path, and other sojourners. Tom writes, speaks, leads retreats, workshops and pilgrimages in the Northwest, Ireland, and the UK.
Program: Tom will offer a framework for reflecting on our individual and collective lives; addressing questions we ask and gifts we receive when coming face-to-face with God. There will be time for silence and journaling, one-on-one conversations, group reflections, and a Eucharist on Sunday. Community will develop, Vision will emerge.
