Come As You Are

Inclusive & Intergenerational Worship Service
Every Sunday at 4:00 pm

 

The Come As You Are service is on hiatus December 28th and January 4th.

When it resumes on Sunday, January 11th, it will begin at 4:30 pm in the Chapel.

This service is casual and welcoming. While it follows the structure of Anglican liturgy, it’s designed for those who may have a hard time sitting still, whether you’re a toddler or an octogenarian. It’s for people who have never been to church before, and for anyone seeking a place to belong.

The heart of this service is generous inclusion: meeting people where they are and loving them for who they are. This is a service designed to fill your heart with joy and prepare you for the week ahead.

 

What is the Come As You Are Service?

A Welcoming Service for All

  • Open invitation to people of all ages, especially families
  • No need to dress up or conform to formal expectations
  • Come in whatever you’re wearing—basketball uniforms, ski clothes, or casual attire

Relaxed and Accessible Worship

  • Designed to be casual, family-friendly, and engaging
  • Recognizes the busyness of life while creating space to encounter God
  • Inclusive and welcoming, allowing participation without barriers

Interactive and Family-Focused Liturgy

  • Simple, reflective music led by piano
  • Prayerful candle lighting to engage the senses
  • Opportunities for children and youth to participate in worship

Celebrating the Presence of Children

  • No nursery—noise and movement are embraced
  • Families can worship together without disruption concerns
  • Children’s voices and participation are encouraged and celebrated
