Karen joined the Epiphany staff as Parish Administrator in June 2022 after serving as Director of Church Operations at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Chevy Chase, Maryland for eight years. She is a native of Minnesota, and graduated from Bethel University with a B.A. in Piano Performance and Psychology.
Karen, her husband Brook, and their three children have lived in almost every part of the country. Now that everyone seems to have settled on the West Coast – two children in L.A. and one in Seattle – Karen and Brook are enjoying being close to family and spending time with their three grandchildren. Karen loves music, theatre, and art, is an avid reader, and is addicted to playing all of the NYTimes games and puzzles. She and Brook have loved exploring Seattle and the beautiful Pacific Northwest, and are especially grateful to have found a church home at Epiphany.
