Julia S. Putnam

Julia S. Putnam is a long time member of Epiphany participating in a variety of ministries and leadership roles over the years. Those include Bible Study, Sunday School teacher, gospel choir, search committees, women’s retreat co-founder and facilitator, nominating committee, Convention delegate, Vestry member, including as Junior and Senior Warden, Epiphany Music Guild board member, and facilitator in RELATA. Her current favorite role is as a volunteer second alto in the Epiphany Choir. Julia retired from a career of clinical social work serving first in minority mental health advocacy and returning to clinical social work as well as teaching family and couples therapy to young psychiatrists at the UW School of Medicine. Julia is happily active with her family and, along with husband Bob, enjoys their children and seven grandchildren. With her brothers, she is a third generation owner of a family ranch in eastern WA. Julia is grateful for the always interesting multi-generational spiritual home that is Epiphany Parish. She has treasured watching the parish grow and flourish and is excited for the next chapters.
