David Boeckh has served as an Evensong organist at Epiphany since 2024.
A native of Seattle, David began studying the organ while his family was living in Berlin, Germany. He continued his studies with Mel Butler at St. Mark’s Cathedral and went on to attend the University of Washington, Oberlin Conservatory, and Indiana University.
In addition to his work at Epiphany, David is Director of Music at the Church of the Ascension in Magnolia and performs regularly throughout the Seattle area as an accompanist, choral singer, continuo player, and recitalist. He has a deep love for the Anglican choral tradition, especially the musical formation of children and the intersection of music and faith, and is continually inspired by the ways beauty in worship draws people closer to God.
