Karen joined the Epiphany staff as Parish Administrator in June 2022. Karen comes to us from St. John’s Episcopal Church in Chevy Chase, Maryland, where she served as Director of Church Operations for eight years. She is a native of Minnesota, and graduated from Bethel University with a B.A. in Piano Performance and Psychology.
Karen, her husband Brook, and their three children have lived in almost every part of the country. Now that everyone seems to have settled on the West Coast – two children in L.A. and one in West Seattle – Karen and Brook look forward to once again being close to family and to watching their first grandchild (born in June) change and grow. Karen loves music, theatre, and art, is an avid reader, and confesses to being a bit of a Wordle addict. She and Brook are excited to explore Seattle and the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
