Dear Epiphany,
Greetings from the other side of the pond. Twelve Epiphany pilgrims have just finished their walk from Rochester Cathedral to Canterbury Cathedral. We enjoyed good weather, good accommodations, and excellent food. But more than that we enjoyed wonderful fellowship and learning more about our Anglican heritage.
The most important thing that happened was we were changed. For some of us, the change is ready to grasp and hold, and for others the change is there, but not quite as perceptible. More will be revealed! We prayed, walked, ate, and slept as pilgrims for a week. Our bones are weary and our feet are blistered. And yet, we are happy. It was a very special week and one we will never forget.
Please continue to pray for the Canterbury pilgrims as we make our journeys onward, for our choir as they begin their time in England, and for the Holy Island pilgrims yet to arrive later this month for their pilgrimage.
In Peace,
Diane
