Dear Epiphany
It may be that as quickly as the pandemic came upon us it will recede out from under us here in the United States. The miracle is the vaccine, and a picture is worth 1000 words. Click here to find the Choosing Safer Activities poster (put out by the CDC) that reveals the liberation the vaccine has availed upon us. I am fully aware that science sits core of this miracle, but it doesn’t make it any less a miracle. This is God’s world, and while scientists have been exploring the use of mRNA vaccines for years, I believe it was the power of the Holy Spirit, moving through the minds of many all at the same time, for the good of neighbor, that allowed the patterns of the Kingdom of God to be revealed in a way that saves lives. It always seems to be the case that when people unite toward a just end, pattern matching, step by step, the patterns of God’s Kingdom designed, then neighbors are well served, and God’s love is revealed.
And so, I invite you to come (or continue) to join me in thanking God. All the glory to the Lord our God!
