The Lazarus pendant was designed by an Epiphany parishioner at the Rector’s request. It is meant to reflect the moment of Lazarus’s “coming forth,” answering the call to arise from his entombment, leaving behind his old or perhaps small or ego-centered self and stepping forward, arms crossed for a blessing into a new life devoted to God.
It is a clue perhaps to a central piece of Jesus’s mission—calling into being our own Christ Consciousness so that we might act in this world as beings of Love, vehicles of God’s love, and in that way keep creation going, unfolding, evolving, never-ending.
The pendant is 1 inch long with an optional chain that is 20-inches long. It is hand cast and finished by local Seattle artists, available in solid silver or bronze, with or without an oxidized silver chain, from a small, woman-owned fine jewelry store in Madrona.
Cost is $275 for the pendant and, if desired, $35 for the chain.
