Pray Seattle’s 40 Days of Lent

Epiphany’s Pilgrimage

Epiphany will participate in Pray Seattle’s 40 Days of Lent citywide effort this year, an urban prayerful pilgrimage journey across Seattle. In conjunction, Elizabeth Roberts has curated a 40-day pilgrimage for Epiphany, with parishioners leading twelve separate in-person opportunities. We invite you to join us. This program begins on Ash Wednesday, March 5th and concludes on Palm Sunday, April 13th.

Marianne Dorman’s book, Living Lent guides our daily practice and is integrated throughout all sessions.

  • The program kicks off following the 7:00 am Ash Wednesday service with an outing to the Adoration House in the U District followed by an opportunity for fellowship. This event begins at 9:00 am.

  • On Wednesdays between 5:30 and 7:00 pm, we meet at the Pray Seattle weekly Prayer Rooms located around our city and pray the weekly theme. Please note that you must RSVP for the Wednesday program so we can communicate directly with you regarding the weekly locations and logistics. Registration will close on March 9. 

  • On Sundays, Epiphany hosts a contemplative prayer Rhythm with Pray Seattle from 4:00 to 5:00 pm in the Fireside Room. This is a drop-in class and it’s okay if you miss some.
