Transit riders might have already noticed an exciting campaign that just launched to promote RELATA on King County Metro buses. The eagled-eyed among them may have also noticed the unfortunate gaff that occurred somewhere in the production process, as well; if you squint, you’ll see that Epiphany has been spelled as “Ephiphany,” with an extra H!
While a mellifluous word, we’re quite fond of our actual name, and KC Metro assures us that this error will be rectified as soon as possible, at no cost to the parish, with a few extra weeks added on the campaign, as a mea culpa. After a few moans and groans, the staff found humor in the ad agency’s mistake that will now live on in staff lore alongside the infamous bulletins when we wished Merry Christmas to our friends, the “Unkrainian” congregation, many years ago.
