Harrowing Of Hell

Robin Mondares

Pastoral Care Minister

Robin has been a member of Epiphany since the early 70s where she served as a Sunday school teacher, was on the vestry twice, in our adult formation classes, and in pastoral care.  Robin came from Yakima to the University of Washington, graduated in zoology, and began her life’s work as a research scientist, initially at Virginia Mason in 1972 and then at University of Washington (the last 9 years as a grant and contract administrator). She retired after 40 years at UW.

Robin believes in the healing power of prayer, in its many forms, to heal and to make whole through the love of Christ: a prayer written and shared among many, the gift of a meal, of flowers, or of a written card – a unique expression of tender loving care, both in times of trial and of celebration. Robin and her husband Ted have been married for over 23 years and  have 6 children, 8 grandchildren and a great grandson.
