Guided Liturgy for Families< Back to Calendar
Concurrent to the 8:45 am service in the big church, there is a Family Service in the Great Hall. There is music, and there is preaching, and there is Holy Eucharist. It is scaled for families. There is instruction along the way. There are celebrations of the memorization of different prayers and songs. The service is led by the people there, taking on duties of usher or reader or liturgical minister or acolyte. There is freedom, yet within the structure of the liturgy in a way that is engaging to families with children 10 and under. The mission is to teach our young people the power of our Anglican liturgy in a way that forms their hearts for a lifetime of praising God. All are welcome.
