Small Groups & Affinity Groups

At Epiphany, relationship is primary

Small groups at Epiphany are where we can share and examine our hopes, challenges, questions, and celebrate our joys in loving confidentiality. Small groups offer companionship on our spiritual journeys, and they aid transformation. Small groups are the place where Christian community is lived out, and lived into, as we form deeper relationships with one another and with God.

Small groups are made up of 5-10 people who meet weekly or biweekly. New small groups are forming continually. If you are interested in joining a group, contact Laura Sargent at

Affinity Groups

All Threads Together

This is a sociable group for fellowship and needle arts. While most knit, some crochet, embroider, quilt, or needlepoint. Outreach projects include creating prayer shawls for those who are ill and hats and other knitted items for Operation Nightwatch, YWCA transitional housing, and Teen Feed. The group makes quilts for our community’s high school graduates. Along with a knowledgeable group of thread folk, supplies such as yarn and knitting needles and a growing pattern and instructional library are available—so just bring yourself. No experience needed!

All Threads Together will resume meeting in person in September, but is still connecting online. Email Laura Sargent at for more information.
